2009 Sofia Marathon on 25th October

27th Edition of Sofia Marathon will be held on 25th of October 2009, Sunday- 10 am.

Registration of 25,3 km participants starts on 22nd October/ Thursday- from 2 till 7 pm,sunday- 7.30 am - 9 am / at "Football`s World" Cafe, located on the left from the main entrance of national stadium "Vasil Levski" - A sector . Medical check document needed(made maximum 3 dasy before the competition). Also bring an ID card to register and obtain a number for the run.

Wriiten applications must be sent in to Sofia Municipality till 22.10.2009 .
Participants from abroad can make a hotel reservation .

Start&Finish in front of "Vassil Levsski" National Stadium , on Gurko street.

Route:
The 3 laps X 8 433 meters each , on asphalt.

Start at Gurko street - then on the left along Evlogi Georgiev blvd- passing by NDC - Bulgaria blvd - turn left along P. Todorov blvd (direction- South Park) - Nishava street and then back on - the left along P. Todorov blvd - Bulgaria blvd - NDC - Evlogi Georgiev blvd - Eagle`s bridge- right into Evlogi Georgiev blvd and finish when crossing with Gurko street- in front of central entrance of National Stadium.

PARTICIPATION FEE : 10 EUR - only for foreigners.

25.3 Men Age groups:
- Till 34y.o.
- 35- 45
-45 - 60
-Over 60
25.3 Women Age Groups:
-Till 34y.o.
-35 to 45 years
-45 to 55 years
-Over55 years
PRIZES in cash - 20 600 BGN/levs/ + 10 000 in objects.
MEN & WOMEN 25,3 - from 1st to 10th place
8,433 distance - for men and women from the 1st to 10th place
3,5 distance - from the 1st to the 100-th place
